01/12/2009Version 2 - CPC Billet Cam carriers
CPC are now offering a Version 2 of the billet cam carrier to suit the hillman imp engine. The Version 2 cam carrier has a profiled bottom face which means that the carrier remains interchangeable with the standard cast carrier. Some customers have been put off the Version 1 carrier as they were unable to fit the cast carrier back onto the head once the head has been machined.

Myles & Nigel Edwards are off to the Nurburgring in the V6 Marcos to take part in the Eifelrennen 3 hour historic endurance race. Testing Friday, qualifying Saturday and the Race Sunday....

04/09/2010Class win at Silverstone!
Nigel Edwards and Myles Castaldini claimed a class win and 4th overall in the swinging sixties race at Silverstone. They started 9th on the grid after a busy qualifying session and the team made steady progress to take the class win by over a lap by the the end of the 40 minute encouter. They are out again for the final CSCC meeting at Snetterton on 16-17th October.

17/01/2011Ex-Works Mk8 Davrian
Having bought the Ex-Works Mk8 Davrian, chassis number DI/8/001 at the end of 2010, the plan is to build it back to original spec, over the next 3 years. It requires a lot of work, but will be returned to its original spec and Drambuie livery ready for racing in the CSCC and the HTS.The car has already been back to the factory to have the front & rear bodywork repaired along with the tub, having been crashed last time out. The CSCC are looking to attract original Modsports Davrians like this with period racing history for their Super saloons and Modsports races, starting this year on the 29th August at Mallory Park.


08/03/2011Lambda sensor boss and plugs
We now have stock of mild steel and stainless steel lambda sensor bosses along with black chrome finished lambda boss plugs to go with both types of bosses. We have recently had an enquiry for a lambda sensor boss with an M18 x 1.25mm pitch thread....Please contact us if this is something you would use. If we get enough interest, we will do a run of lambda sensor bosses with this fine pitch.

CPC are looking to run a car in the 2012 DBT...The chassis is back from powder coating and the build has started. THe new wiring loom is due to go in next month.. We just need an Atlantic spec. BDA......

29/03/2011Work on the VD82 FF2000 finished & the car collect
Work on the VD82 FF2000 has been completed and the car has been collected by the customer. Work now concentrated on the V6 Marcos which is out on the 9th & 10th April on the new Snetterton 300 circuit.


09/04/2011CSCC, Round 1- Snetterton 300
Myles and Nigel Edwards are entered for round 1 of the CSCC Swinging Sixties in the V6 Marcos. The engine is now back from its winter re-build and the winter re-build is in full flow. With over 20 cars entered already, full grids are expected throughout this season again. The drivers will be looking to build on their class win last year at Silverstone.


25/04/2011Nigel Edwards on the podium for Presidents Cup
Nigel Edwards finished 3rd in the 2011 Presidents Trophy race at Castle Combe in the CPC prepared V6 Marcos. Boxed in at the start of the race, Nigel Edwards dropped back to 8th on the first lap, leaving himself plenty of work to do. Making his way back up the field and with two laps to go, Nigel was in 3rd right with 2nd placed Alan Tice in the 1800 Appendix K Marcos. Nigel was looking like he might make it up to second position but the two held their positions to the flag. Nigel & Myles are next due out in the car on the 7th May at Brands Hatch in the CSCC Swinging Sixties race before heading off to Spa in June, again with the CSCC.

10/06/2011Spa Francachamps. CSCC Swinging Sixties
Nigel and Myles are heading over to Spa Francachamps, the home of the Belgium Grand Prix for the 1 hour, 2 driver Swinging Sixties race. The high speed straights combined with the sweeping corners should suit the V6 Marcos. This will be a good test for the 2011 suspension upgrades.

The Classic Sports Car Club are organising a Revival race for Special Saloons, Modsports and Super Saloons on August bank holiday Monday. CPC are hoping to get an entry with the Mk8 Davrian which is due out for testing in May....

05/11/2011WHT HSCC Allcomers Race
Myles picked-up a class win & 4th overall in the HSCC closed wheel allcomers race on the 5th November. Running in the Crossflow engined Mk8 Davrian Mlyes fell one short of a podium finish having started 15th on a 37 car grid on the Silverstone National circuit. The team plan to enter again next year should the HSCC be running the invitation class which they had for the first time this year.


10/01/2012Works Davrian to the paint shop
The 001 Works Mk8 Davrian tub has been repaired and is now in the paint shop, ready to be turned back to its Drambuie colour scheme.
