The CPC prepared cobra was out at Silverstone in the Heritage GT race supporting the British GT's and F3. They finished 6th overall in both the one driver sprint and the two driver endurance race.

John Dickson and Myles Castaldini finished 3rd overall in the 1 hour support race for the Spa 6 hour meeting. The car did not miss a beat over the weekend and the revised fuel system thankfully lasted the full 60 minutes!

Myles and John head for Brands Hatch for the final two rounds of the Heritate GT series. The car is running well after Spa and John is testing on the Friday to work on the set-up at this short and twisty track.

Those wishing to run a billet cam carrier in their imp engine, but do not have the machining facility to modify their cylinder head will be pleased to hear that CPC are now offering a machining service to modify the hillman imp cylinder head to accept the CPC billet cam carrier. Billet cam carriers are currently in-stock.

| 25/09/2009 | Nürburgring & Nordschleiffe
Myles Castaldini and Nigel Edwards will be racing the V6 Marcos at the Nürburgring and the Nordschleiffe on 25th/26th/27th September 2009.
This race will be open to all models of Sports and GT cars available in the showrooms up until 1981.
It will be a 300km race with a compulsary pitstop and refuelling allowed. This will include an hour practice on Friday morning, an hour practice on Saturday morning with the race on Sunday morning.

| 01/12/2009 | Version 2 - CPC Billet Cam carriers
CPC are now offering a Version 2 of the billet cam carrier to suit the hillman imp engine. The Version 2 cam carrier has a profiled bottom face which means that the carrier remains interchangeable with the standard cast carrier. Some customers have been put off the Version 1 carrier as they were unable to fit the cast carrier back onto the head once the head has been machined.
