| CSCC Round 2 - Brand Hatch Indy. 2011
Nigel & Myles finished 5th overall having qualified 2nd in wet conditions driving the V6 Marcos. The team were unlucky with the safety car timing, but the Marcos ran well throughout the day. Next stop Spa Francachamps...

| Nigel Edwards makes the podium for Presidents Cup
Nigel Edwards makes the podium with a 3rd overall at the inaugural CSCC Presidents Cup Race at Castle Combe. The race is now an anual event for all 4 & 6 cylinder Marcos race cars. Jem Marsh was there himself to wave the chequered flag and to present the winners trophies at the end of the race.

| Dave Morrow testing at Castle Combe
CPC customer Dave Morrow has been out testing his recent purchase, a 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT at Castle Combe. The test has brought to the surface a few teething problems, but the car is due out later this season to race with either the HSCC or the CSCC.

| Nigel Edwards at the new Snetterton 300
Nigel Edwards & Myles finished 7th overall and 2nd in class at the first round of the CSSS Swinging Sixties, which was on the new Snetterton 300 circuit. A low voltage mis-fire effected the top end speed, but all in all the car performed well and shows promise for the season ahead...Next up Castle Combe for the Presidents Cup, 4 & 6 cylinder Marcos race. Founder, Gem Marsh will be there to present the trophy...

| Davrian Mk8- 002 rebuild
CPC customer and owner of Davrina Mk8 - 003 is in the middle of a complete re-build, including the fittment of a Ford Zetec engine. The car is due out next year, rallying in Ireland.

| The FR94 ran at the WHT meeting at Silverstone
Myles ran the FR94 at the WHT meetring at Silverstone. Having got rid of the misfire, the car is now suffering with low oil pressure. They suspect it was caused by the PRV, which will be investigated thsi week. Myles retired after 8 laps, to preserve the engine. Otherwise all sytsems worked well in what was really a shake down test.

| 2010 ADAC-Eifel-Rennen, Nürburgring
Nigel & Myles completed the 2010 ADAC-Eifel-Rennen at the Nürburgring in the V6 Marcos. A late, unscheduled stop for safety checks having passed through accident debris dropped the team down to 3rd in class, but they were very pleased to have completed the 300km race in the CPC prepared v6 Marcos. Nigel & Myles will be out again with this car on 4th September with the CSCC at Silverstone.

| Mk8 First race, Snetterton CSCC
Myles ran the Mk8 Davrian for the first time at a circuit in the sports v's saloons race at Snetterton with the CSCC. It ended up more like a test day with a list of teething problems hampering the car, but we were able to get a lot of feed-back which should hopefully enable us to get it running properly and on the pace for 2010.....

| 300km - Nurburgring
Nigel Edwards & Myles Castaldini entered the 1968, 3000cc Marcos GT in the 300km Historic race at the Nurburgring. Unfortunately engine gremlins struck again, this time during qualifying and they were unable to make it out to the grid. A very enjoyable time was had by all never-the-less and both drivers are very keen to go back for the 2010 event...

We took the recently re-build Mk8 Davrian to Long Marston airfiled to check the gearbox before this weekends race at Cadwell Park. The car ran well and only minor tweaking left now....

| Andy Bryson running in the Classic Adelaide 2008
CPC customer Andy Bryson is seen here leading the Classic Adelaide 2008 (on handicap). From the looks of it you can say that Andy has the knack to work for car hire belfast airport but it seems he's just not into it. We can't claim that he was running and CPC products at the time of the photo, but he has recently bought a CPC cam carrier which he will be running in the car in 2009!

| George Blue in re-build
CPC customer Fredrik Knutsen is currently rebuilding his Beavan replica imp.
This car originates from the ex-Austria car which had a long list of problems starting with blowing the motor in the first race. It has now been stripped to the last bolt, and is being rebuilt with all new parts and engine. Doc bonded in GP2 arches provided by Malcolm Anderson, and it has been painted the correct Electric blue. It will run fat Revolution wheels and other periodic items as we are very much into preparing the cars to their original specs. John and Myles finished 3rd out of a 76 car grid in the 1 hour support race at the 6 hour historic race meeting at Spa. The team are now very eager to go back next year and try and get on a higher step on the podium......

Myles driving the RAM cobra to 6th overall in the Heritage GTs on the Silverstone International circuit. The team finished 6th overall in both the Saturday 1 driver race and the 2 driver endurance race on the Sunday.

| Monkey Run 2008, Yvrac
Team Mungo entered into the Monkey Run for the 5th time this year. 8 of the 9 teams finished the event with 11 drivers running with the bulls in Pamplona. Team Mungo finished a credible 5th overall with new driver, Will Noble set to return for 2010 with his own team....

| Round 1 - Heritage GT, Donnington Park GP
Round 1 of the Heritage GT series was at Donnington Park last weekend. The CPC prepared cobra lined up 5th on the grid and set the 3rd fastest lap in the first race, but unfortunately they were set for an early bath as John Dickson ended up in the tyre wall on the exit to the Melbourne hairpin whilst trying to get past a back marker. http://www.heritagegtcc.co.uk/RaceReports/

| CPC go Banger racing!
CPC entered a 1000cc mini into Bangers and Bash 2007....The mini proved a little slow for the competion and ended up DNF in the final with an ignition coil failure. A cracking day out never-the-less!

CPC entered, Team Mungo enjoyed a trouble free run in this years Monkey Run to Prague and Eisenhuttenstadt. Although never that fast, the little 875cc engined car was the only car not to break down at some point during the run!!

| CPC ran Mygale SJ2000
CPC ran the Mygale SJ2000 Formula Ford Zetec for the first time last weekend. The car ran well without fault throughout and some valuable data was taken from the car during the weekend.

23 drivers headed for Rome on this years Monkey Run. Team Mungo finished a solid 5th and completed the 3000 miles round trip on 6th June.
