Paul and Myles Castaldini were out at round 2 of the Jaguar Classic Challenge at the Silverstone GP circuit in the Low Drag E-type and the ex-Dick Protheroe FHC E-type Jaguar. Later this month they head out to Le Mans for round 3.

Myles was out in the Scuderia Castaldini Mk8 Davrian on 1st May in the CSCC Future Classics. P2 overall in qualifying translated to 8th overall and a class win after an early unscheduled pit-stop to rectify a mis-fire dropped the number 2 car 2 laps down on the leaders. Lap times down to 1.04.3 on what were well used rear tyres, shows some gains with recent set-up adjustments.

The Scuderia Castaldini qualified 2nd overall for round 2 of the CSCC Future Classics series on the Silverstone National course.

Scuderia Castaldini were providing race support for David Beatty in his Ginetta G50 racing in the CSCC New Miennium series at Silverstone. Fastest in class in qualifying, David had a solid race in wet and drying conditions, finishing the 40 minute endurance race 2nd in class.

Most of the paint has been stripped off the bodywork and repair work carried out. The bodywork is now ready to re-fit to the chassis.

Myles had his first run in Nigel Edwards' newly restored Brabham BT38 at the Nurburgring, running in the HSCC FIA Historic F2 Championship.

Myles finished 3rd overall in the CPC Mk8 Davrian in the HSCC closed wheel all comers race at the 201 Walter Hayes Trophy meeting. Having started from 3rd on the grid and then spinning at the first corner, he left himself plenty of work to get back up to 3rd by the end of the race.

Scuderia Castaldini ran the Mk8 Davrian in the CSCC Future Classics round at Oulton Parklast weekend. Myles qualified on pole, 1.4 seconds clear of the Tuscan challenge car of Darren Smith that lined up on the front row along side him. The race was called to an early end after 3 laps with Myles leading, following extensive damage to the crash barriers. A race result and a win declared, but not the win they were looking for.

Nigel Edwards & Myles finished 3rd in class at the 2013 Efielrennen race at the Nurburgring. The start of the 3 hour endurance race was delayed whilst recovery teams removed a Porsche 911 from the pitwall, but the Scuderia Castaldini TVR Grantura ran well throughout the race without any unscheduled pit-stops. They finished just over a lap down from the class winning Porsche 904.

Myles qualified 3rd overall but unfortunately retired after 6 laps of the race due to a low voltage mis-fire. Having to start from the pit-lane, he made it back up to 11th overall before returning to the pits to retire.

Myles and Alex completed the final Monkey Run in July this year in the trusty imp. 9 cars in total started & completed the run. Oli Hyatt & Jamie Chorley took top honours in their green MBGT. Ben and Scott were a close second in their 3rd attempt in the Lancia Beta Spyder. If only they new how to read a map and they could have been sat on the top step of the podium...

Nigel Edwards makes the podium with a 3rd overall at the inaugural CSCC Presidents Cup Race at Castle Combe. The race is now an anual event for all 4 & 6 cylinder Marcos race cars. Jem Marsh was there himself to wave the chequered flag and to present the winners trophies at the end of the race.

CPC customer Dave Morrow has been out testing his recent purchase, a 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT at Castle Combe. The test has brought to the surface a few teething problems, but the car is due out later this season to race with either the HSCC or the CSCC.

Nigel Edwards & Myles finished 7th overall and 2nd in class at the first round of the CSSS Swinging Sixties, which was on the new Snetterton 300 circuit. A low voltage mis-fire effected the top end speed, but all in all the car performed well and shows promise for the season ahead...Next up Castle Combe for the Presidents Cup, 4 & 6 cylinder Marcos race. Founder, Gem Marsh will be there to present the trophy...

| ||2010 ADAC-Eifel-Rennen, Nürburgring|
Nigel & Myles completed the 2010 ADAC-Eifel-Rennen at the Nürburgring in the V6 Marcos. A late, unscheduled stop for safety checks having passed through accident debris dropped the team down to 3rd in class, but they were very pleased to have completed the 300km race in the CPC prepared v6 Marcos. Nigel & Myles will be out again with this car on 4th September with the CSCC at Silverstone.

Nigel Edwards & Myles Castaldini entered the 1968, 3000cc Marcos GT in the 300km Historic race at the Nurburgring. Unfortunately engine gremlins struck again, this time during qualifying and they were unable to make it out to the grid. A very enjoyable time was had by all never-the-less and both drivers are very keen to go back for the 2010 event...

John and Myles finished 3rd out of a 76 car grid in the 1 hour support race at the 6 hour historic race meeting at Spa. The team are now very eager to go back next year and try and get on a higher step on the podium......
